During his 40 years as an ordained minister, Robert served as the Lead Pastor for four different thriving congregations, as the Executive Director for Teen Challenge of Southern California where he had oversight of eight faith-based drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs, and as a missionary which resulted in him traveling to 48 countries as a minister.
During his years of service, he invested in his future retirement through his denominational retirement plan and in investments he was directed to through a licensed financial advisor. At retirement, he came to terms with the fact that the assistance he had received in planning fell short of preparing him for his retirement years. Through Guardian Promise, he was introduced to an option for restructuring his retirement that radically improved and secured his retirement income. When approached by the founder of Guardian Promise with the possibility of training as a retirement consultant to help others as he had been helped, he felt he had found a new calling. His focus is providing retirement education that was not provided to him and assisting in the development and facilitation of individual retirement plans. His efforts are supported by the extensive consulting group that makes up Guardian Financial Group.
